Why am I having trouble setting up my Windstream email?

The preinstalled Email app in the Cruz devices cannot configure an account automatically with the Windstream mail servers. The correct email server settings are posted below for reference in setting up the account manually.


Email Address: username@windstream.net (Enter your windstream.net Email username in place of "username")
Password: Enter your windstream.net Email password.

POP3, IMAP, or Exchange: POP3
Username: username@windstream.net
Password: Enter your windstream.net Email password.
POP3 server: pop.windstream.net
Port: 110
Security type: None
Delete email from server: Never (If you delete a email in the app, it will not affect your windstream.net account.)

SMTP server: smtp.windstream.net
Port: 25
Security type: None
Require sign-in: checked
Username: username@windstream.net
Password: Enter your windstream.net Email password.
