Why am I having trouble setting up my Rodgers.com email?

The preinstalled Email app in the Cruz devices cannot configure an account automatically with the Rodgers mail servers. The correct email server settings are posted below for reference in setting up the account manually.


Email Address: username@rogers.com or username@nl.rogers.com (Enter your Rogers Email user name in place of "username")
Password: Enter your Rogers Email password.

POP3, IMAP, or Exchange: POP3
Username: username@rogers.com or username@nl.rogers.com (Enter your Rogers Email user name in place of "username")
Password: Enter your Rogers Email password.
POP3 server: pop.broadband.rogers.com
Port: 110
Security type: None
Delete email from server: Never (If you delete a email in the app, it will not affect your Rodgers account.)

SMTP server: smtp.broadband.rogers.com
Port: 587
Security type: None
Require sign-in: checked
Username: username@rogers.com or username@nl.rogers.com (Enter your Rogers Email user name in place of "username")
Password: Enter your Rogers Email password.
